TowMate Wireless Light Systems Guide to Operations 1} Plug the transmitter into your truck’s 4 pin connector. 2} In the daytime simply turn on the remote control lights by flipping the switch up. The taillights will be illuminated and the lights are ready to receive a signal from the truck. You cannot overcharge your lights. Whenever your lights are not being used …. Plug them in for recharge. The batteries will resist developing a memory so you do not have to discharge them all the way. If you have further questions please call 800-680-4455 TowMate provides a lifetime warranty on the electronics. Shipping is not included in the warranty. Call the 800 number anytime if you have a problem. BE SURE TO CHECK THE FUSE IN YOUR CHARGE CORD IF FOR SOME REASON YOUR LIGHTS QUIT WORKING. REPLACE WITH A 5 AMP FUSE. The red indicator light will illuminate even if the charger is plugged into the light only. An easy way to check the fuse would be to plug the charger into the vehicle first and check for the red LED indication before plugging into the light. The center pin is the 12V+ pin for RECHARGE and the top silver pin is for GROUND.Be sure to find a full time power source even when the ignition is off on the vehicle. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO PLACE A 10 AMP FUSE ON THE 12V+ WIRE. The marker lights will always be on when the bar is on. When you begin transmitting a signal from your truck the bar will begin to respond to left and right turn, stop and hazard. Be sure to mark your name and phone number on the case for easy identification in the event it is left behind after a tow. Best of all… enjoy your new found freedom from wires.
