The PLC-TCA48WL combines advanced traffic control capability, powerful scene lighting, and TowMate’s patented Power-Link technology into one versatile warning system. Designed for towing, utility, municipal, construction, DOT, and roadside safety applications, the PLC-TCA48WL provides highly visible directional warning patterns while also delivering powerful white illumination exactly where it is needed.

Featuring eight high-intensity amber traffic control LED modules and three integrated white work light modules, the PLC-TCA48WL helps safely direct traffic around active work zones, recovery scenes, and roadside incidents while providing additional lighting for loading, unloading, equipment operation, and nighttime work.

Operators can activate left-to-right, right-to-left, center-out, and quad-flash strobe patterns using the included PLC-TX6 Power-Link controller. The white work light modules can be activated independently whenever additional scene lighting is required.

Unlike traditional traffic arrows that require extensive wiring between the controller and light bar, the PLC-TCA48WL installs with just two wires at the controller and two wires at the light bar — power and ground. Power-Link technology sends control signals directly over the power circuit, eliminating the need for dedicated communication wiring.

Because the signal travels through the power wire itself, the PLC-TCA48WL can often utilize existing vehicle wiring, including tail light circuits and other powered circuits already present on the vehicle. As long as the controller and light bar are connected to the same electrical circuit, Power-Link communication is maintained. This dramatically reduces installation time, simplifies vehicle upfitting, and minimizes the amount of wiring required.
