The PLC48TCA combines advanced traffic control functionality with TowMate’s patented Power-Link technology, creating one of the easiest-to-install and most versatile traffic arrows available. Designed for towing, utility, municipal, construction, and roadside safety applications, the PLC48TCA provides highly visible directional warning patterns while eliminating the need for complicated multi-wire installations.

Featuring eleven high-intensity amber traffic control LED modules, the PLC48TCA delivers exceptional visibility to help safely direct traffic around work zones, roadside incidents, and active recovery scenes. Operators can activate left-to-right, right-to-left, center-out, and quad-flash strobe patterns using the included PLC-TX6 Power-Link controller.

Unlike traditional traffic arrows that require extensive wiring between the controller and light bar, the PLC48TCA installs with just two wires at the controller and two wires at the light bar — power and ground. Power-Link technology sends control signals directly over the power circuit, eliminating the need for dedicated communication cables.

Because the signal travels through the power wire itself, the PLC48TCA can often utilize existing vehicle wiring, including tail light circuits and other powered circuits already present on the vehicle. As long as the controller and traffic arrow are connected to the same electrical circuit, Power-Link communication is maintained. This dramatically reduces installation time, simplifies vehicle upfitting, and minimizes the amount of wiring required.
